Public Speaking

Dr. Calvario Ripkens has been a guest lecturer for institutions such as UC Irvine, USC, Grossmont College, Cal State Fullerton, San Diego State University, Chapman University, UCLA, Cornell University, & Princeton University as well as La Salle University in the Philippines and for companies such as Red Bull, Nike, and Google.  He has served as a discussion panel moderator for Culture Shock LA’s H4 Dance Summit, Arena LA Dance Camp, Red Bull BC One Dance Camp, and Hip Hop International’s Real Talk discussion panel. 

He has also been a guest for podcast shows such as Trust & Believe by ShaunT,  Words that Move Me by Dana Wilson, the Uncommon OT by Patricia Motus, Pilipinx in Wellness, Kiss My Mike, Dance Speak, Kinjaz Podkast, Breath Faith and Creativity, A Broad Cast, Lab Rats Culture by Stephen “Twitch” Boss, Dance Your Life by Galit Friedlander, Garage Sessions Podcast by Dylan Shepard and One Thousand Gurus Podcast by J.R. Yonocruz.

Arnel is also a contributing author for the book “WITH LOVE – What We Wish We Knew About Being Queer and Filipino in America” which was released May 2024.  That same month, he was also featured as the closing TEDx speaker for TEDxUCIrvine’s 2024 Spring conference.
