Is a dance workshop experience created by Dr. Arnel Calvario Ripkens that explores the history and heritage of many of the Hip Hop, street and club dance art forms we participate in today through our choreography and freestyle movement.  Participants will be given a dance timeline handout, view dance video clips, participate in group discussion, and engage in a movement dance workshop.  The intent is to provide & exchange dance knowledge, promote appreciation of the people and culture that birthed, informed & shaped these dance art forms, and facilitate meaningful, inclusive, empowering, and positively impactful discussion.
